I am so sorry for your lost and our lost. He was a dear friend of ours. My Mother-Allie Ross-was his Fathers nurse when he was in Ddr. Reids Clinic in Pineville. A special friend was formed between her and the family-especially John. Every year they would send birthday cards and Christmas cards to each other. And call each other from time to time. He came to her funeral in 1997. That was the last time we saw him. Before that time, we had visited with him in his apartment in Rock hill. He still had my Moms picture under the glass on his coffee table. Bob-my husband-fell in love with his car collection. He also has a car collection but much smaller. Is there any way you could share several of John's cars with us? It wauld be very appreciated. Even after Mom's death, John would write to me and send me clippins from the local newspapers he thought I may be interested in. This was after we moved to Florida. John was a fine person. A good loving thoughtful friend. The world is a better place for having John in it. He will be Very Missed. Sincerely, Jane

My husband, Joe, live in Greensboro, buthave attended the reunions and luncheons and know that John worked very hard to arrange these events through these many years. We know you do not know us, but Mr. Knox was very special to us at Bethel Pres. Church. He was always there with a smile and a kind work. We will miss him but know that he is with the Lord. Tom Ed sat in front of him at church and was always looking to talk to Mr. Know each Sunday to see how things were going. We missed him the last two Sundays and are so sorry we did not get to see or talk to him before he died. Know that you all are in our prayers.
