I was only able to 'meet' Steve in passing during my short time working with him a few years ago. He was a kind and good man, always smiling. I hope his family stays close to great memories of him. You are in my prayers

To Steve's Family,
My deepest condolences for your loss. I worked at First Charter with Steve and Maria for three years and he was one of the nicest people I ever knew. He would do anything for you and always had a smile and a story for you. I am deeply saddened by his passing and my heart goes out to the kids. Maria, you already know how much he loved you but I'll remind you anyway because he always wanted the best for you. Steve will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Steve ,
What can you say about a man with a big heart of gold , A smile that made your day. Stories of his family, guns, watches, and tattoos. He touched everyones heart at Lowe's in Indian Trail and we were so happy for to open his restaurant but sad to see him leave us. We wished him the best and I still do. I will miss you! Your smile will live on. My prays to your family.

Dear Effie,
I just learned of Steve's death and am so saddened. I looked for you on facebook a while ago and hoped to reconnect but didn't see you listed. I know this must be a very difficult time and will pray for you, your Mom and the family. Please tell your Mom I'm thinking of you both. I know this is so hard to understand but trust in God's plan. I know Steve will be missed greatly. Your childhood very best friend, (bff as they say now). Tricia

We sat at a table with Steve for meals on a cruise in 1979. In spite of a difference in ages( he was in college at the time )we had a wonderful time together. He was fun and we have never forgotten him although we have never seen him again.
We extend our sympathy to his family and friends. I know he will be missed by all.

I remember Steve when he operated the cafeteria at one of the Allstate locations. Steve was a very nice person and always had a smile on his face. I'll never forget when our department found out we would be losing our jobs, Steve started to cry as we told him. That's just the nice kind of person that he was. Sympathy and Prayers

Family and Friends:
I would like to express my condolences on Steve's passing.
Although I did not know him well, I know that he was a well-liked member in the community.
When he would visit us at the shop he always brought a smile and his warm, pleasant, nature.
We will miss the friendship he shared with us.
