Obituary of Joseph Restaino

Joe Restaino, of Charlotte, NC; passed away Friday, January 8, 2010 at home surrounded by his family. Joe's love for his family and friends will be forever remembered. Joe was born to Diane and Michael Restaino in Dallas, Texas on December 21, 1989. He attended The McCallie School in Chattanooga, TN, graduating Cum Laude and the recipient of The Campbell Award in May 2008. He went on to attend the University of Pennsylvania. He leaves behind his parents Mike and Diane Restaino, brothers Tony and David Restaino; Grandparents Pat and Bette Rega of Charlotte, NC.; Nunzio and Louise Restaino, of the Lake of the Ozarks, MO; Aunt's and Uncle's; Darcy and Michael Hanley of Cincinnati, OH; Michelle and Richard Kautzman of Indianapolis, IN; David and Laura Rega of Mt. Vernon, IA; cousins Sarah Cook, of Charlotte, NC; Patrick Cook of Vail, CO; Julie Burke of Providence, RI; Alexandra Kautzman of Indianapolis, IN and Christian Kautzman of Indianapolis, IN. Joe will live in our hearts forever reminding us of what can be achieved under less than perfect circumstances. His grace and humor enriched so many lives. Family and friends were blessed with the time we had with Joe and all the gifts he shared with us. Our family offers an invitation to celebrate Joe's life during services at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 3601 Central Avenue, Charlotte, NC., on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 3:00 PM with the family receiving friends following the service and in the chapel at The McCallie School, 500 Dodds Avenue, Chattanooga, TN, on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at 7:00 PM with a reception following in the dining hall.
