My thoughts & prayers go out to Bud's friends, family & co-workers. I enjoyed working with Bud while he was in Cedartown & enjoyed his "grumpy old man" sense of humor. I missed him after he moved onto Atlanta & I know he's going to be missed by his co-workers & everyone else that knew him.

I can't think of Bud without smiling. He was special in many ways but I connected with his sense of humor. He would not have admitted to all of the kindness he will be remembered for. He loved his Carolinas and family so much. I'm really sorry for your loss.

I remember hiring Bud at Tech in Cedartown. I used to laugh and call him "a grumpy old man" and he would just laugh. He was far from that. He loved life and his family and his dry sense of humor was enjoyed by all. He will be truly missed.

It was a pleasure meeting and working with Bud when we were in Cedartown. Then I ran into Bud at the Glenridge location and the last time I saw Bud was downtonwn in the 675 building in July. Bud was always available to assit you. He had a dry sense of humor but you had to know him to appreciate his sense of humor. Rest in Peace Bud!

Today would have been Bud's birthday. Bud was very loved by the Cedartown Technical support people. We would have a problem with the Carolina service and we would go running to Bud for assistance. He was always able to handle the issue. While he was working on the issue, he always made us laugh. He was a valuable asset to Cingular and AT&T wireless. We missed Bud in Cedartown when he left for the big city. But, when problems arose; he was just an email away and would help in any way he could.

I worked with Bud at AT&T Wireless in Cedartown GA. He taught me a lot about technical support. He seriously liked his reputation as a grumpy old man. However, he did not always live up to it. LOL He will be truly missed. My prayers are with his daughters and family as well as his co-workers at AT&T.

I remember when Bud joined us in Cedartown. He was always a wonderful resource for all things "Carolinas". I always saw him laughing with his cubemates and making the most of those crazy tech days. Much love to his family. Find comfort in knowing he is surrounded with love. Phil 4:13.

I never had the occasion to meet Mr. Bumgardner, but I know his daughter, Melinda, well. Any man who had a hand in raising such a kind, gentle, loving, and generous daughter must have had these qualities himself. I'm sorry for your loss, Mel, and I hope you and your sister find peace and support from everyone who loves you!

I really enjoyed working with Bud and giving him a hard time before I retired and left Cedartown. I talked to him on the phone a couple of weeks ago and he was telling me when he was going to retire next year and take his Girls on a long vacation. I will miss our hour long talks on the phone every few months. I am so very sorry for your loss. He loved his family so very much..

Bud loved his girls, it showed in his face when he would talk about them. I would always ask about Amanda & Melinda and he would say with a smile how they were doing. Richard & I (Brenda) always admired how Bud took such good care of Pat especially in her last days. Today and forever Pat & Bud are together again. We miss them both and loved them dearly.
