When the Manned Spacecraft Center (now JSC) decided to send all budget analysts from a single office to that supported in 1964, I was assigned to the administrative office for Engineering and Development under Jack. I and found Jack to be a good and pleasant leader and enjoyed that office for many years. As I remember, one of his stories was about painting silos as a kid.
My condolances to his family.

I remember Jack and the family as fine neighbors in Dickinson. I was off in college by the time they moved in, but I was always in awe of our NASA neighbors. In one block we had the Heberligs, Max Faget and family, and John and Dottie Lee with their two girls. What a fantastic line up. He will be missed.

I was a friend of Susan. Jeff Yates just informed me so I saw his obituary in the Houston Chronicle. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I will always remember him for his yard. I currently live down the street from the house in Dickinson so I pass it frequently!
