Obituary of Alex Uhler

Alex Thomas Uhler Beloved Son, Protective Brother, Caring Friend Alex Thomas Uhler, age 21, passed away on October 18, 2012 at his residence. He was born on December 5, 1990 in Corpus Christi, Texas and was the son of Deanna and Brian Uhler. Alex was a Pre Med student at Queens University of Charlotte majoring in Biology with a minor in International Studies. He was a member of Phi Kappa Sigma. Alex respected nature and the outdoors. He loved hiking, backpacking and camping, which led him to the Boy Scouts where he earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Alex was a sensitive young man with a big heart and a gentle, unassuming spirit. He was extremely insightful with a brilliant mind and a passion for Science. In addition to his parents, Deanna of Charlotte, NC and Brian of South Lake Tahoe, CA Alex is survived by his sister Kristen of San Francisco, CA; his maternal grandparents, Jim and Joyce Armstrong of Corpus Christi, TX; paternal grandmother, Joanna Uhler of Elk, WA; five aunts; five uncles; and fourteen cousins.
