We are so sorry for your loss. My dad remembers her love for gemology well (he was married to her sister Martha). Our condolences to your family.

Ester was one of the most gentle people that ever God created. I knew her for years, always smiling and a kind person. I have thought of her often but much to my shame haven't seen her for about 5 years. She was very independent. I remember having to argue with her to let us help her pack her truck after a gem show. She never ask for anything. She was a wonderful friend. I should have kept in touch and will always regret that I didn't. My prayers go out to all her family.

Esther Kennedy was an amazing woman. She was my neighbor for the last 20 years. She was self-sufficient and competent until the very end of her 96 years, still driving and living in her own home. She stayed up-to-date on the financial markets and could navigate the internet like a 30 year old. She would occasionally call her closest neighbor, Rick, over for help, always offering him a beer:) She was an inspiration. Rest in peace, Esther. I feel sure Bert is there to welcome you home. Love, Charlotte
