I am so very sorry to hear of Wendy’s passing. I heard the very sad news when I was attending a reunion of S&P Global this spring. I knew both Wendy and Roy when I was a young, married mom with a 4 year old working with Wendy at the West Nyack Library. Wendy was a true joy. My daughter adored her children’s book hour and still remembers Wendy’s loving, cheery and excited voice as she turned each page. Roy and Wendy welcomed us into their home and I baby sat her daughter Brie. Twenty years later despite relocating to the Midwest for graduate school, I ended up working coincidentally for the same firm as Roy had done. Thank you for the warm memories and I hope you and your family are well and know just how impactful Wendy was in what I suspect were so many lives

The first time I saw Wendy on the stage I thought this woman is a star!! She could literally captivate an entire room and hold it in the palm of her hand!!!

One Christmas morning I discovered a small package at my door. I discovered it was a gift from Wendy. A tiny ceramic angel dressed in blue. I labeled the small box with he name and unwrapped it each year with warm thoughts of her. I think I leave her angel in my cabinet of lifetime treasures all year long. Will always remember your squinty smile and joyous laugh.
