To the family of Brian....I send my sincerest sympathies. Although we were first cousins, I did not know Brian like I would have liked. The times that I was around Brian he seemed to have a sweet personality, always smiling. May God bring you peace and comfort during this most difficult time.

Peace my brother, although we have been distanced for a while I often wonder how you were. I second what Kent said, you were a pleasure to work with and a good friend. My thoughts go out to Suzanne, Zack, Alisha and their families. I know that he will be missed. I have missed you for a while, so long my friend. Till we meet again.
Always,
Carr and Ellen Mumford

Farewell to one of the best. I will always remember you as a wonderfrul person to work with, you were my mentor and a professional. One of the most caring people I have encountered and that will never be forgotten by me. You are at peace now and the world is a little less with your passing.

I am saddened at the loss of Brian. The places he created as a Landscape Architect enrich the Charlotte area. Many people live in a more attractive and healthy environment as the result of Brian's work.
He also strengthened the profession of Landscape Architecture in North Carolina through his efforts to overcome Roy Coopers attempt to weaken the profession. As a fellow Landscape Architect, I will miss him.
Lee McLaren, FASLA
