It was an honor to have known Alex. I always enjoyed talking with him during company events. His love for his family was always present in our conversations. My prayers go out to his family.
1 Thessalonians 4: 13-14
Brothers, we do not want to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
Rest in peace Alex.

Dear Paulette,
I read with shock and great sadness of Alex's death in this morning's paper. My heart goes out to you and all his family. What I remember most about him from my County Day years was his smile. Nothing ever seemed to get him down for long. I lost a son in infant death years ago, but I can't imagine what it must be like to lose a son who's been an integral part of your life and close to your heart for more than five decades. Please know I'll be thinking of you tomorrow.

I am stunned, saddened, heartbroken to read Alex’s obituary in the paper this morning. It is one thing to find former colleagues, family and friends there, but former favorite students is quite another, and I am mourning deeply with all of you and thinking of you with heartfelt sympathy. I probably will not be able to be there with you tomorrow, but I will certainly be thinking of you, Paulette, Jim, and dear Natalie, especially, and sending hugs and prayers your way. Love, Julia Britt

I had the pleasure of meeting Alex in 2013. We were part of the same training class with Church Mutual. Alex was such a great guy and team player. I will miss talking to him, and will cherish the memories. Prayers to the family! The world has lost a great one, but our loss is Heaven’s gain! God bless Alex.
