Obituary of Larry Boggs

Larry G. Boggs Mr. Boggs, 72, husband of Virginia Dare Watson Boggs, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Presbyterian Hospital. Mr. Boggs was born March 6, 1937 in Siler City, NC, a son of the late William Elga Boggs and Lillie Webb Ellis. He loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed. Survivors include his wife Virginia "Mickey"; brother, Thomas Boggs of Norfolk; sister, Georgia Simpkins of Tampa; son, Jason Boggs and his wife Cheri; and granddaughter, Abigail. A service to celebrate Mr. Boggs life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2009 in the chapel of Hankins and Whittington Funeral Service. The family will receive friend and family immediately following the service at the funeral home.
