Obituary of William Karas

William Spero Karas Mr. Karas, 77, of Charlotte died Sunday, November 29, 2009 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC. Mr. Karas was born in Kzelsmeno, Evrytania Greece on September 29, 1932. A devoted and loving father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather, Mr. Karas enjoyed taking care of his family. Survivors include his seven children, one brother, one sister, eight grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. May his memory be eternal. Funeral service for Mr. Karas will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 11:00 AM at holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral with Father Michael Varvarelis and Father Efstathios Varvarelis officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The Trisagion will be held Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
