Obituary of Homer Albrecht

Homer R. Albrecht Mr. Albrecht passed to his heavenly home on Monday, December 21, 2009. He was born in Bowdle, SD on May 25, 1929 to Paul and Marie Albrecht. He graduated from Luther Preparatory School in New Ulm, MN and served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War as an air traffic controller. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Christine Mares Albrecht; daughter Julie Stewartson and husband, Brian; grandson, Justin Stewartson and wife, Stacey; granddaughter Hannah Fram and husband, Jacob; great-grandchildren, Thea and Gabriel Stewartson; brothers, Marcus Albrecht and wife, Margaret, Paul Albrecht and wife, Carol, Martin Albrecht and wife, Eunice; sisters Lois Kiecker, Elaine Ogrin and husband, Dick; and many nephews and nieces. A service to celebrate Homer?s life will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 26, 2009 at Grace Lutheran Church. A luncheon will follow the service. Interment will be in the spring of 2010 in the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM near his home of many years. Homer was a dedicated servant of the Lord throughout his life.
