Obituary of Betty Sigmon

Betty I. Sigmon Mrs. Sigmon, 79, of Charlotte, NC died at Carolinas Specialty Hospital in Charlotte, NC on Thursday, December 24, 2009. A Charlotte native, she was born December 27, 1929, daughter of the late Caleb and Minnie Henderson Isehower. Betty was a graduate of Davidson High School in Davidson, NC and was a member of Park Road Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing canasta with the canasta group from the church. Mrs. Sigmon was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who was very proud of her grandson. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, S. Patrick Sigmon; daughter, Cindy Robertson and husband, Tony and their son, Thomas all of Tega Cay, SC; brother, John Isehower of Charleston, SC A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Park Road Baptist Church with the Reverends Russ and Amy Jacks Dean officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Park Road Baptist Church, 3900 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC 28209.
