Obituary of Betty Pasotto

Jean Elizabeth Pasotto ?Betty? Mrs. Pasotto, 84, of Charlotte, died January 2, 2010 at The Summit Place at Southpark. She was born in Ontario, Canada on March 17, 1925, daughter of the late Edward and Edith Watford. Mrs. Pasotto was an active member and Past Matron of Mizpah #36 chapter of ?The Order of the Eastern Star.? She had worked for many years for Personal Legal Plans. Mrs. Pasotto also loved to square dance. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Cleveland and her sister, Elaine Watford. Mrs. Pasotto is survived by her husband of 66 years, Fred J. Pasotto; three children, Rick Pasotto, Diane Jones and her husband, J.D., and Sherman Pasotto and his wife, Teresa; four grandchildren, Marie Jolly, Michael Jolly, Shannon Mouzon and Christopher Pasotto; and two great-grand-children, Wesley Jolly and Benjamin Mouzon. The family would like to the Shining Stars for their support and the staff at Summit Place for their professional care and personal kindness. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 9, 2009, in the chapel of Hankins and Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28203. The family will receive friends following the service until 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
