Obituary of Mary Bridges Paul

Mary Lou Bridges Paul Mrs. Paul, 88, of Charlotte, died February 9, 2010 at her residence. She was a native of Rutherford County, NC. She was an Exxon-Mobil retiree and a member of the Charlotte Exxon-Mobil Retiree Annuitants Club. She was a longtime member of Wedgewood Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Dan R. Paul and his family of Hilliard and Jacksonville, FL; two brothers, Fadie Bridges of Ellenboro, NC and Virgil Bridges of Summerfield, NC; two sisters-in-law, Georgie Bridges of Ellenboro, NC and Ruby Bridges of Campobello, SC; and nephews and nieces. Mrs. Paul was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson H. (Bill) Paul and three brothers and two sisters. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 12, 2010 at Wedgewood Baptist Church 4800 Wedgewood Drive Charlotte, NC 28210 with Reverend Dr. Chris Ayers, officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 PM in Walls Baptist Church Cemetery in Bostic, NC. The family will receive friends at Wedgewood Baptist Church on Friday for one hour prior to the service.
