Obituary of Lois Bridgeman

Ms. Lois Joan Bridgeman Ms. Bridgeman, 76, of Charlotte died at her residence Saturday, February 13, 2010. She was born January 3, 1934 in Tryon, NC a daughter of the late of the late William and Sarah Shehan Bridgeman. Lois was retired from Bell South with 29 years of service, where she was employed as a ?Frame Dame?. She was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers and loved trips to Myrtle Beach. In addition to her parents Ms. Bridgeman was preceded in death by seven brothers and one sister. Survivors include her sister, Josephine Maxwell of Hendersonville, NC and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many good friends to cherish her memory. A service to celebrate her life will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, February 16, 2010, in the Dilworth Chapel of Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to St. Jude?s Children Research Hospital, 322N. Lauderdale St., Memphis, TN 28100.
