Obituary of Linda Reames

Linda Marie Reames Mrs. Reames, 70, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 18, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 20, 1939 in Paw Creek, NC daughter of the late Lindsey and Gladys Mitchell Barnes Linda was a member of Paw Creek Presbyterian Church She was a loving and devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents Mrs. Reames was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronald Eugene and Melvin Dean Barnes. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, J.D. Reames, Sr; daughter, Alisa R. Mullis; son, David Reames all of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, David, Christopher and Stephen Mullis and Jennifer, Jason and Justin Reames; great-grandchildren Eli, Avree and Kyleigh Reames. Also surviving are Randy Mullis and Donna Reames. A graveside service will be held 3:30 PM Sunday, February 21, 2010, in Paw Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.
