Obituary of Jane Lane

Aleta Jane Johnston Lane ?Jane? Mrs. Lane, 75, of Charlotte, died on March 24, 2010 at Britthaven of Charlotte. She was born on September 8, 1934, in Charlotte, daughter of the late Trady Johnston, Sr and Jessie Noles Johnston. She was a devoted, no-nonsense mother. She was very unconventional and way ahead of her time. Mrs. Lane loved all nature, loved to read and she was a great cook. She is survived by her children, Leta Lane Wellman and her husband, Perry of Bostic, NC, Tracy Lane Gugel and her husband, Ron of Richmond, KY, and Robert Kenneth ?Kenny? Lane, Jr. of Charlotte, NC; and grandchildren, Dana Wellman Enzor of Raleigh, NC, Matthew Kenneth Wellman, of Bostic, NC, Erin Jane Gugel and Jamie Rosanna Gugel, of Richmond, KY.
