Obituary of David Harkey

David Mark Harkey Mr. Harkey, 52, of Charlotte, died March 24, 2010 at his residence. He was born on May, 14, 1957 in Charlotte, son of Frances and the late, Willie Joe Harkey. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Evelyn Tackett; son, Ken Tackett and his wife, Jenni; and his granddaughter, Kayla Tackett, who always made him smile. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Purcell United Methodist Church, 2141 Weyland Ave. Charlotte, NC 28208. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
