Obituary of Annie Norman

Annie Viola Helms Norman Mrs. Norman, 89, of Sebring, OH, formerly of Charlotte, NC died Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring, OH. She was born July 8, 1920 in Union County, NC, daughter of the late Luther and Mandy Price Helms. Mrs. Norman was a member of Westmoreland Baptist Church and was married to the late Charles Edward Norman, Sr. for 50 years. Annie was employed with Ivey?s Department Store for many years until her retirement in 1985. She enjoyed gardening, especially growing orchids, quilting and crafts of all types. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Shore and husband, Jerry of Alliance, OH; son, Charles Norman, Jr. and his husband, Chris Waring of San Francisco, CA and granddaughter, Bonnie Shore of Alliance, OH. A service to celebrate her life will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 30, 2010, in the Dilworth Chapel of Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
