Ruth Marie Wintzer
Mrs. Wintzer, 94, of Charlotte, died March 28, 2010. She was born on May 24, 1915 in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late Charles and Bessie Brown Wintzer. In addition to her parents, Ms. Wintzer was preceded in death by her brothers C.R. Wintzer, Jr., Antoine Wintzer and Louis Wintzer and sisters, Mary Surratt, Betty McCullough, and Anna Owen. She is survived by nephews, Jerry Surratt, Ed Owen, and Charles Wintzer and nieces, Ann Wilson and Joann Evans. Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at the graveside in Sharon Memorial Park.
