Obituary of Mary Lusk Lemond

Mary Alice Lusk Lemond Mrs. Lemond, 72, of Charlotte, died April 7, 2010 in the Harris Hospice Unit of Presbyterian Hospital. She was born on September 29, 1937 in Staunton, Virginia, daughter of the late, Leon and Myrle Sillings Lusk. Mrs. Lemond was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, George Lemond; children, Darryll Lemond, Jeff Lemond and his wife, Kate, and Lori Lemond Beatty and her husband, James; grandchildren, Ed Lemond, Laura Grace Lemond, Mary Quinn Lemond, Chandler Lemond and Jack Beatty. A memorial service will at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 10, 2010, at Steele Creek Presbyterian Church 7404 Steele Creek Road, Charlotte, NC 28217, with the Reverend Valerie H. Phillips, officiating. The family will receive friends at home following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harris Hospice, c/o Presbyterian Hospital, 200 Hawthorne Lane, Charlotte, NC 28204.
