Obituary of Alta Crist

Alta Blanche Crist Mrs. Crist, 90, of Charlotte, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 20, 2010. She was born in Grafton, West Virginia, daughter of the late Luther and Flora May Funk. She has resided in Charlotte of r the last 50 years. Mrs. Crist owned Crist?s Snack and Dairy Bar and was co-owner and operator of Janelle?s Dry Cleaners. She also worked as a secretary for 14 years at ABC Food Services. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by all of us. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, The Reverend Lee J. Crist. Mrs. Crist is survived by her brother, Herbert Funk of Myrtle Beach, SC; her daughters, Shirley McCain, Sharon Greene and her husband, Timothy and Sheryl Jones and her husband, Mickie; grandchildren, David McCain, Shari Licata, Tiffany Deitz, Tarrah Jones, Jenna Jones and Carlee Jones; and nine great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, April 22, 2010 in Sharon Memorial Park. The family will greet friends following the service at the graveside.
