Obituary of Mary Earnheart

Mary Jo Stanley Earnheart Mrs. Earnheart, 84, of Charlotte, NC went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Shelby, NC on December 11, 1925, daughter of the late, Claude Harve and Lottie Stroup Grose. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Stanley; a son, Steve Stanley; a brother, Gus Grose; and a sister, Jean Grose. She later met and married Erskine Earnheart, who also preceded her in death. Mrs. Earnheart was a graduate of Lake Lure High School and retired from Celanese and Wellman. Jo was a loving wife, mother, aunt and a wonderful friend to many. She was a faithful servant of God and was a dedicated church member who loved her church family dearly. Jo will be greatly missed by her family, church and friends. She is survived by her son, Craig Stanley and his wife, Sandy; step-sons, Mike Earnheart and his wife, Kim, Gerald Earnheart and his wife, Debbie; daughters, Brenda Johnson and her husband, Greg, Beverly Land and her husband, Sam; a sister, Charlotte Brown and her husband, Allen; grandchildren, Shannon, Ben and Emily; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate Mrs. Earnheart?s life will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Harrison United Methodist Church, 15008 Lancaster Highway, Pineville, NC 28134. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harrison United Methodist Church Building Fund, 15008 Lancaster Highway, Pineville, NC 28134.
