Obituary of Alice Lockey

Alice Christine Lockey Mrs. Lockey, 90, of Charlotte, NC died May 17, 2010 at Presbyterian Hospital. She was born in Trion, Georgia on July 4, 1919 daughter of the late P.A. Stephenson and Bertha Hogue Stephenson. Mrs. Lockey is survived by her son, Larry Tant and his wife, Donna; a sister, Joyce Stroud; granddaughters, Lori Tomlinson and her husband, Philip, Robin Mende, and Kristina Simms and her husband, Bennett; and her four great-grandchildren, Meredith Mende, Mitch Mende, Zachary Simms and Clifton Simms. Her funeral service will be at 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 19, 2010 in the chapel of Hankins and Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28203. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
