Obituary of Martha VanHuss

Martha VanHuss Martha Frances Clarke VanHuss, beloved mother and mother-in-law of Eric and Julia VanHuss, died May 31, 2010 at Sharon Towers, Charlotte, NC. Born October 11, 1918 in Shelbyville, KY, Martha was the daughter of L. L. and Lillian Barnes Clarke and lived in Shelby County until her move to Charlotte in 1997. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, George Bradley VanHuss, and by her sister, Eva Clarke Long of Louisville, KY. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church, Shelbyville, KY. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 11:00 o'clock in the morning at Grove Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Eric and Julia wish to thank the staff at Sharon Towers who faithfully cared for Martha with skill and loving devotion during her four-year stay in Assisted Living and five years in Health Care.
