Obituary of Henry Bolt

Henry William Bolt Mr. Bolt, 87, of Charlotte, NC died Saturday, June 12, 2010, at the Court at SouthPark. He was born March 18, 1923 in Battle Creek, SC son of the late Robert O?Dell and Ruth Estelle Hare Bolt. He was a U.S. Amy and U.S. Navy veteran. Mr. Bolt was the vice president and chief estimator for Acoustics Inc. a company which he co-founded. He enjoyed NASCAR and spending time with his family. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be missed by those whose knew and loved him. In addition to his parents Mr. Bolt was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Beulah in 2009, and also his son, Michael William Bolt and sister, Margie Shelton. Survivors include his daughters, Linda B. Aycock and Kathy B. Turza and her husband, Al; grandchildren, Heather A. Little and husband, Rick, Shelby N. Johnson, and Monica L. Willet and her husband, Jeff; and great-grandson, Connor G. Jerkins; brother, Charles Bolt; sisters, Estelle Barnett, Pauline Gould and Rose Marcengill. A service to celebrate his life will be held Tuesday evening, June 15, 2010 at 7:00 PM in the Dilworth Chapel of Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
