Obituary of Dorothy Terry

Dorothy Hood Terry Mrs. Terry was born on December 10, 1924 in Charlotte and left this earth and went to a better place Tuesday June 15th. She was surrounded by loved ones. Dorothy served her family and friends with love and care for 85 years. She will be missed but her love and spirit will live on. She is survived by her husband, Francis K. Terry; three sons, Ken, Ray, and Dale and their spouses. She has four grand children and 2 great-grand children. Dorothy was the ultimate mother to all, including nephews, James Hood and Mark Boone. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 5:00 PM, Friday, June 18, 2010 in the chapel of Hankins and Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28203. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. Please join the family and friends share thoughts and celebrate her life as she wished.
