Obituary of Patricia Economos

Patricia S. Economos Mrs. Economos, 77, of Charlotte died Friday, July 23, 2010, at Carolinas Medical Center Northeast in Concord, NC. She was born August 6, 1922, in Tryon, NC. Patricia was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Mrs. Economos was preceded in death by her husband, Gus Economos and her mother Ethelene Bridges Matheny. Survivors include her sons, Nicholas Economos and wife, Mandy of Shaker Heights, OH, Robert Economos and wife, Roula of Charlotte, NC and Larry Economos of Raleigh, NC; daughter, Nancy E. Hall and husband, Ken of Harrisburg, NC and her grandchildren, Ellen, Christina, Emily, Alex, Luke, Faith and Zoe. The Trisagion and Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 28, 2010, Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
