Obituary of Charles Mitchell

Charles ?Chuck? Mitchell Mr. Mitchell, 47, of Charlotte died at Carolinas Medical Center on Saturday, August 7, 2010. Chuck was born January 28, 1963, in Goldsboro, NC, son of Charles D. Mitchell and wife, Katie and the late Mary Hughes Mitchell. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a member of Mecklenburg Community Church. Chuck enjoyed all sports and was ranked the number one dart thrower in the U.S. for a short time. Surviving in addition to his father are his wife, Teresa Mitchell; children, Lauren, Brittany, Jacob and Heather Mitchell; four brothers and two sisters. A service to celebrate his life will be held 7:00 PM Tuesday evening, August 10, 2010, in the Dilworth Chapel of Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service. The family will receive friends following the service until 8:30 PM.
