Obituary of Helen Fridell

HELEN JOHNSTON FRIDELL Mrs. Fridell, of Charlotte, NC, died August 24, 2010. She was born September 1, 1919, in Mooresville, North Carolina, daughter of the late Cyrus Robert Johnston and Nannie Lee Nesbit Johnston. Mrs. Fridell was married to Terrell Fridell of Charlotte, who died in 1988. She was a graduate of Mooresville High School and Queens College. Mrs. Fridell was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. Helen is survived by her son Terrell, Jr., who has lovingly cared for her over the past five years. Mrs. Fridell and her son Terrell, Jr. were owners and operators of Carolina Marble and Granite in Charlotte. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Barium Springs Home for Children, PO Box 1, Barium Springs, NC 28010 or Queens University of Charlotte, 1900 Selwyn Ave., Charlotte, NC 28207. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Evergreen Cemetery at 4426 Central Avenue, Charlotte.
