Don, we love you & will truly miss you in this world. You brought a lot of fun & enjoyment into everyone's life you touched, always such a pleasure merely walking into the A & G and just yakking it up. Still feel we're with you big guy, and hope we're lucky enough to see you on the other side.

All of you and your husband and dad will always be one of the best memories for the Olympic family - from the Kopper Kettle on Friday afternoons to being privileged to teach the brightest, the most creative and the most "worldly-aware" kids ever! Remembering all of you at this poignant and sad time. What a man!

I first met Lomax when I was a little girl. I was probably about 7 or 8. My grandfather, Bill Jones was best friends with him & owned Antiques on Main. I remember walking there from school everyday and sitting there with Lomax, my grandfather, & Bill Allen. I have so many great memories of the trio cutting up & always picking on me. Its so hard to believe that youre gone! I just saw you a month ago. My grandfather passed away 9 years ago & from time to time Id stop by to see & visit with Lomax just to bring back memories & a part of my Pawpaw. RIP Donald you were an amazing & loving man. I can't believe youre gone. Well atleast now you & my pawpaw are in heaven together reunited cutting up & making jokes once again.

My father first took my sister and I to Don's antique store in Rock Hill when we were in elementary school (we are 24 & 25 now). We loved going, and Don was so incredibly kind to us kids- he treated both my sister and I so well, and no matter how old we got to be, it never changed. We grew up knowing him, visiting the antique store in Fort Mill after a school day, through middle school and high school, and never stopped no matter where we ended up in college. He was family to us, and the shop and all its regulars are constants in our lives. He leaves behind countless friends, a charming, sweet and loving wife, and a great family. He was a beloved friend to my father, and the same to all of us. He was an incredibly generous, kind-hearted man. We love you Don, things will never be the same without you, and we will miss you so very much.
