Obituary of Anne Batts

Anne King Batts Mrs. Batts, 65 of Mt. Gilead, NC formerly of Charlotte died Wednesday, September 29, 2010. She was born July 26, 1945 in Thomasville, GA daughter of the Sara Agnew King and the late Raymond E. King, Jr. Survivors include her daughter, Lyn King of Mt. Gilead, NC; brother, Raymond E. King III of Detroit, MI; grandson, Jacob King of Mt. Gilead, NC and her adopted daughter, Jennifer White of Pageland, SC and many aunts and uncles. Funeral service for Mrs. Batts will be 10:00 AM Saturday, October 2, 2010 in the Dilworth Chapel of Hankins & Whittington Funeral service. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening October 1, 2010 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 N.
