Obituary of Johnny Bigham

Johnny Grier Bigham Mr. Bigham, 87, of Charlotte, NC, died Monday, November 29, 2010 at the Brian Center. He was born in Union County, NC on June 4, 1923, son of the late Ervin C. and Cora Coan Bigham. He was a US Army WWII veteran. Mr. Bigham worked for Chadburn Hosiery for many years and later for Associated Grocers. Mr. Bigham is survived by his wife, Carrie Autry Bigham; sons, Harold Bigham of Monroe, NC and Paul Bigham of Charlotte; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 2, 2010 in the Dilworth Chapel of Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Boulevard. Interment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 prior to the service at the funeral home.
