Obituary of Ronnie Taylor

Please run verbatim Ronnie Carlyle Taylor, Sr. Mr. Taylor, 76, of Charlotte died Sunday, December 12, 2010, at Carolinas Medical Center. A Charlotte native Mr. Taylor was born July 15, 1934, to the late William Stanton and Ambler Major Taylor. Ronnie graduated from Harding High School class of 1952 and attended NC State University. Mr. Taylor was employed with several architectural firms prior to his retirement including, J N Pease Associates, Gene Beard Design and Clark, Tribble, Harris and Li. Ronnie was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite Body. Ronnie is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sonoko Yamamoto Taylor; son, Ronnie Carlyle Taylor, Jr. and wife, Kathy; daughter, Patricia Taylor Heavner and husband, Curt; brothers, William Stanton Taylor, Jr; Robert Lewis Taylor and wife, Bonnie; and John Thomas Taylor and wife, Barbara; five grandchildren, William Stewart Taylor, Stephen Carlyle Taylor, Joseph Bradford Taylor, Erin Rebecca Heavner and Reagan Taylor Heavner and two Great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate his life will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, December 18, 2010 in the Dilworth Chapel of Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
