Obituary of Helen Ferreira

Helen Cooper Ferreira Mrs. Ferreira, 95, a Charlotte native, died Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at White Oak Manor in Charlotte, NC. She was born June 27, 1915 the daughter of the late Stephen & Mabel Downum Cooper. Helen was a member of Sardis Presbyterian Church and was a retired executive secretary. In addition to her parents Mrs. Ferreira was preceded in death by her husband, Frank. She is survived by her nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Mrs. Ferreira will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 29, 2010 in the Dilworth Chapel of Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service with Rev. Alice Johnson officiating. Interment will be Private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Sardis Presbyterian Church, 6100 Sardis Rd, Charlotte, NC 28270.
