Obituary of David Noe

David Lawrence Noe, 53, of Blacksburg, SC, formerly of Charlotte, NC, died December 27, 2010. He was born October 2, 1957 in Birmingham, Alabama, son of June and James Earl Noe. He attended South Mecklenburg High School prior to entering the US Army where he served in the 82nd Airborne in Korea and later in the Signal Corp. Following his seven year Army service he worked for Nippon and MCI for twelve years. He then subcontracted with utility companies installing cable and phone lines. David was a motorcycle enthusiast and befriended everyone he met and always tried to help people in need. David is survived by his wife, Lanie of the home, his mother, June Funderburg Noe and a brother, Jimmy Noe, both of Charlotte. A memorial service will be held at Noon on Monday, January 3, 2010 at Holy Comforter Episcopal Church, 2701 Park Road, Charlotte. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:30 until 3:00 PM at Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd.
