Obituary of Deborah Heindorf

Deborah Lynn Heindorf ?Debbie? Mrs. Heindorf, 51, of Charlotte died Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Debbie was born November 30, 1959, in Oneida, NY and was a graduate of Canastota High School class of 1978. Mrs. Heindorf was employed with Royal & Sun Alliance and Arch Insurance Company. She enjoyed music, traveling, exercising and golf. Debbie loved life and especially her family and friends who will deeply miss her. Debbie was preceded in death by her father Richard G. Houseman. Survivors include her husband, Tom Heindorf of Charlotte, NC; mother, Clara Houseman and Jack Testone of N. Syracuse, NY; brother, Martin R. Houseman and Joanne Cardone of Frankfort, NY; sisters, Darlene Carr and husband, Jack of Fayetteville, NY and Pamela Kelsey and husband, Ebenezer of Otego, NY; sister-in-law Helen Atkinson and husband, Mark of N Syracuse, NY and their children Dana and Lauren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and Izzy and Punk her beloved cats. The family would like to thank Dr. Miller and the nurses and staff at Carolinas Medical center for the care and kindness shown to Debbie and the family. Special thanks to Gloria Gabrick her close friend, who was a primary caregiver throughout her battle. The family will receive friends at Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service Saturday afternoon February 5, 2011 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. A service to celebrate her life will be held 11: 00 AM Monday, February 7, 2011at St. Matthew Catholic Church.
