Obituary of Earline Williams

Earline Treadaway Williams Mrs. Williams, 83, of Tuscaloosa, AL, died February 28, 2011 in Charlotte, NC. She was born to the late Clara and Ellis Treadaway of Trussville, AL. Earline is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Joseph Alton Williams, Jr. Upon retiring as owners of Wicker World, Alton and Earline enjoyed retirement at their lake home surrounded by all their wonderful friends at Searcy Farms. Earline and Alton were active members for over 50 years at Forest Lake United Methodist Church, serving as Sunday school teachers, youth leaders, volunteers, and members of the Koinenea Sunday School class. Earline and Alton?s lives were a reflection of their deep Christian faith, warm, caring personalities, and loyalty to all their beloved family. Her passing leaves a void in the lives of all who knew and loved her. Earline is survived by her three children, Sherry Williams Stephens of Charlotte, NC, Alton Williams, III and wife Janice of Tuscaloosa, AL, Dawn Williams of Tuscaloosa, AL; grandchildren, Court Stephens and wife, Chrissy, James Alex Stephens, Chris Williams and wife, Leslie, Lori Williams Graves and husband, Jonathan, Robin Lewis and husband, James, Patty Thompson and husband, Dustin; great-grandchildren, Haley and Keely Williams, Nathan and Cody Graves, Lexi and Kylie Lewis; and her sister Martha Clark of Clermont, FL. A celebration of her life will be held at Forest Lake United Methodist Church on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall at the church.
