Obituary of Sandra Borden

Sandra Renee Borden Sandra ?Sandy? R. Borden, of Charlotte, NC died on Friday, April 8, 2011. She was born on April 28, 1954. Sandy enjoyed gardening and all things horticultural. She spent her life working tirelessly and joyfully at her vocation, until illness took it?s toll. Sandy was a woman who loved her family and friends unconditionally and consistently. She is survived by her husband Stephen C. Borden and her parents Horace Preslar and Sarah Springs Preslar, all of Charlotte; Sandy is also survived by various cousins and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will take place at 10:00AM Tuesday, April 12, 2011 with a memorial service at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Hankins and Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd, Charlotte. The world is a better place for Sandy having been in it. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
