Ginner Poe taught us, in the way she lived her life, what it is to be a Christian woman. Her radiant smile was the reflection of her deep, abiding faith -- an inspiration to all who were blessed to know her as a friend.I send my love and deepest sympathy to each member of her beloved family.Rita Simpson

Dearest Pam, Mike, and family,Although I didn't know Mike's mother, after reading the lovely writeup, I feel as if I did know her. She was obviously an amazing and talented woman. Our love and sympathy go to all the Poe relatives. And as I learned from losing my mother (also named Virginia but known as Ginny), such a loss is always very difficult.

My love and sympathy goes out to all of you at this time of loss. I know your lives were blessed with the presence of a beautiful soul; as a mother, grandmother, and so much more. She brightened each life that she touched, no matter how brief the interaction. It was such a privilege to know and love Ginner these past months, and to appreciate the special light she brought to this world. May her memory always bring you joy when you are missing her the most.

Mike, Pam and entire Poe family: I am so saddened at the passing away of your Mother, Mike. I know and understand what a loss it is. I always loved how gracious and kind your Mother was and her sincerity and how easy it was for her to converse with every single person no matter what their social background in life was. I know you will miss her greatly but what comfort it is to know that our Lord is now taking care of her every need and that we will be able to see our loved ones again-----all because He promised and we believe! Sincerely, Nancy, Laura and Emily Prather

I met Mrs. Poe in 1975 when my husband and I attended First Baptist Church. She was the Sunday School teacher for the young married women. I remember our class being invited to her home for dinner. She was the most gracious hostess and as a young bride I truly admired her skills. What an impression one dinner made! My thoughts are with your family as you mourn the loss of a lovely woman.
