Obituary of William Chiles

William B. Chiles Mr. Chiles, 77, of Charlotte, NC passed away after a battle with lung cancer. He had been employed by the advertising division of 3M Company for thirty five years, the last ten as Regional Account Executive. Mr. Chiles served in the United States Marine Corps., and was stationed in Korea for thirteen months. He was an avid golfer and thoroughly enjoyed his membership at Carolina Golf Club. Mr. Chiles is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy; three daughters, Darla Todd, Sandy Dowdy and Patty Chiles; one grandson; a brother, Bob; and several nephews. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, June 24, 2011 at the graveside in Elmwood Cemetery, 824 South Dudley St., Memphis, TN 38104.
