Obituary of Isaac Jacobowitz

Isaac Jacobowitz Mr. Isaac Jacobowitz, 82, of Charlotte, died Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Sunrise on Providence Road. Born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Harry Jacobowitz and Yetta Finkelstein Jacobowitz. Isaac was an Army veteran who served in the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his children Bruce Jacobowitz and his wife Mary, Elka Bernstein and her husband Andrew and Stacy Elder. Isaac is also survived by his sister Lillian Countess and his grandchildren Nathan, Jordan, Jacob, Kamryn and Zachary; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Jacobowitz was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 35 years Phyllis Goodglass Jacobowitz. Relative and friends are invited to the graveside services Friday, August 19, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Hebrew Cemetery, 1801 Statesville Ave., Charlotte, NC.
