Betty Jean Thelma Moyle James ?Jean? Mrs. James, 86, of Charlotte, NC died on September 11, 2011 at White Oak Manor. She was born in Charlotte, NC on June 16, 1925. Mrs. James was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, two brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her daughter, brother, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and twelve step-great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 23, 2011 at Memorial United Methodist Church, 4012 Central Ave. Charlotte, NC 28205. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Memorial United Methodist Church or your local hospice.
