Obituary of Kenneth Richmond

Kenneth Bascom Richmond, Jr. ?Kenny? Mr. Richmond, 50, of Charlotte, NC died Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at Carolinas Medical Center. A Charlotte native, Kenny was born June 30, 1961, son of Kenneth Bascom Richmond, Sr. and Bonnie Griffin Richmond of Charlotte, NC. Kenny enjoyed NASCAR, Swimming and Panthers Football; he was also a member of Steele Creek Masonic Lodge # 737 AF & AM. Mr. Richmond had a deep love for his family and friends and will be missed by those who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents, Kenny is survived by his sister, Rhonda Witmore and husband, Dennis; maternal grandmother, Claudia Griffin and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive Mr. Richmond. A service to celebrate Kenny?s life will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church with the Reverend Ron Perry officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
