Alberta Queen Esther Wesley Westmoreland Sister Alberta Queen Esther Wesley Westmoreland, 87, died on December 11, 2011 in Charlotte, NC. She was the beloved daughter of the late Lula Wesley. Alberta leaves to cherish her memories, her children,Gloria Westmoreland, Barbara Jones and her husband John, Joseph Douglas Westmoreland and his wife Daisy, Marcellous Westmoreland, Leonard Westmoreland and his wife Sonia, Stanley Westmoreland and his wife Sue, and Dickie Westmoreland and his wife Harvena; her loving sister Janie Mae Harris. Sister Westmoreland was a grandmother and greatgrandmother, and great great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Joseph Westmoreland, Joann Westmoreland Hampton, Charles Westmoreland, Richard and Ricky Hampton and Marcell Westmoreland. Sister Alberta spent her life as a devoted Jehovah?s Witness. Visitation will be held from 12Noon to 1:00PM, Saturday December 17, 2011 at Kingdom Hall Jehovah?s Witnesses Hall, 6515 Old Pineville Road, Charlotte, NC with funeral service to begin at 1:00PM. Burial will follow at York Memorial Park, 5150 S. Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care, Charlotte Region, 1420 East 7th Street, Charlotte, NC 28204.
