Obituary of Nancy Childress

Nancy Lowery Childress, 61, of Rockwell, NC died December 14, 2011 at home. She was born in Charlotte, NC April 9, 1950, daughter of Henry C. Lowery and the late Annie B. Lowery. In memory of Buster Milstead, fiance. She is survived by her two daughters, Clarissa Godfrey of Indian Trail, NC and Melody Garton of Concord, NC. Sisters, Pat Irvin and her husband, Jock of Huntersville, NC, Joy Stonebraker and her husband Bob of Charlotte, NC and Connie Kiser of Charlotte, NC; father, Henry C Lowery of Charlotte, NC; four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 17, 2011 in the Chapel of Hankins and Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd. Charlotte, NC, 28203. Interment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park. The Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday, December 16, 2011 at the funeral home.
