Obituary of Paddy Morton

Paddy Franks Morton Mrs. Morton of Matthews, NC, died Saturday, January 7, 2012, at her residence. She was born in Rutherfordton, NC, daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Gene Franks. Paddy retired from Ford Motor Credit with over Thirty years of service. She enjoyed traveling, reading and in recent years being a political watchdog. She was a loving and caring mother and friend, who will be missed by everyone she touched. In addition to her parents, Paddy was preceded in death by her husband, Buzz in 1997. Survivors include her son, Mark Morton of Newport Beach, CA; brother, Donnie Franks of Monks Corner, SC ; sister-in-law, Leah Ensor and husband, Dr. Dale Ensor of Cornelius, NC and niece Shane Franks of Ellenboro, NC. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 10, 2012, in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 PM Monday evening January 9, 2012, at Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service.
