Obituary of Stephen Dominguez

Stephen Rae Dominguez Stephen ?Steve? R. Dominguez, age 54, of Charlotte, NC died suddenly on January 21, 2012. Steve was the son of Frances Cathey Dominguez and the late Laurence Dominquez. Steve began his career working as technician?s supervisor for Systel O.A. for over 15 years. Steve then chose to follow his love of automobiles and became the co-owner of Carolina Restyling and Upholstery for the past 12 years. Steve received numerous awards for his excellence in automotive restoration and refinishing. Steve enjoyed his work, but his greatest love was spending time with and cooking for his family and friends. In addition to his mother, Steve is survived by his wife Mary Gulbro Dominguez; daughter Chelsea B. Gooden and her husband Jeremy; two sons, Collin R. Burnett and William L. Dominguez, all of Charlotte; two sisters, Andrea Carter and her husband Rod, and Marta Almond and her husband David; three grandchildren, Haley, Madison and Charlie. Steve is also survived by his four-legged friend Catie. Relatives and friends are invited to a Service of Remembrance on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Hankins and Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd, Charlotte with visitation from 12Noon to 1:00 PM. Inurnment will follow immediately at Sharon Memorial Park.
